A post about some of the up and coming items at folio and some more to be announced in the near watch this space! In the meantime...

The next Beginners and Experienced Printmaking courses will be starting as from 31st October, details are below. The Experienced courses are filling up and there are some places still available on the Beginners!

Open Access will also be running on another session now as currently Monday is full. As from 1st November, Wednesday afternoon will be available to book 2 pm - 6 pm.

The details can be found on the PDF file for Open Access on the homepage.

Also now available to buy in the studio are Cranfield's water-based etching and relief inks. The 250g tins usually retail at £19.95 and are on sale at folio at £14.00.

A small selection of paper is also available to buy including Somerset velvet and Fabriano.

These artists quality printing inks are made using vegetable oils so you can wash them away with soap and water rather than having to use solvents. These inks are made using high quality pigments rather than dyes so they offer excellent light-fastness and are ideal for lino, block printing, etching etc. Caligo inks have all the characteristics of traditional oil based printing inks, but with the added benefit of simple soap and water clean up. These inks all carry the AP approved mark so they are non toxic and suitable for use by children.
